Staff with stun~guns on both ends (reduced power output to lessen battery drain). Either hard rubber or poly~carbonate cages to protect dancer...

Various tools which employ resonant Tesla~coils on their active points as the primal energy conductor. When these are brought within a certain range of an active coil they begin to throw sparks of their own... (e.g. poi which replace wicks with coils)

Various tools that utilize inert (?) gasses which light up when brought within a certain range of active coils.

Hook active coil to circular or spherical environment in which a spinner could stand and act as a mobile lightning rod

Kevlar gripping for tools? The super tough material seemed to hold up to the lightning well... only a slight burning smell.

X~shaped staff: might catch and hold arc better than traditional pole

"Tap Shoes": for more light hearted performances

Chrome/polished tools: reflections are beautiful

Clear tools: Acrylic melted, but seemed to glow from within. A cool effect if we can get a resilient material (MW:crystal?)
