plasma ballJeff Parisse of kVA (www.teslacoil.com) has donated the use of an SG-10 coil along with a controller and other elements!

Brent and Jeff will write more here about tesla coils, how the sound system works, the geometry of sound, the history of these coils for and the future of this design for use around the world.

We might want to strongly consider the use of the XenoSonic Audio Interface instead of the Plasmasonic(bothPlasmasonic (both mfg by EVR)... reason being that the XenoSonic actually synthesizes tonessynthesizesaudio with the coil, coil as the tone generator, whereas (from what I can see on the video), the Plasmasonic simply transforms the coil into a crude visualizer of audio amplitude. Synthesizing discreet tones / wavelengths from the Tesla also allows really good work with the Solfege notes as mentioned in the Research section of this site.
