What intuitive and logical combinations have played a role in ritual over time?

What has survived, and what is the future of ritual as modern science proves ancient wisdom?

How does Humanity, the 4th dimension (time) and the 4th state of matter (plasma) relate to energy and vibration?

We have been discussing experimental dramatic forms that will allow for more open-ended participation and interpretation. Concepts include the unity of universal entities, transcending dualism, and simultaneous, perhaps seemingly contradictory stuff. We want to transcend dualism as well as strive for stories that support the reality of changing performers across nights and different festivals.

A character creation idea:
I had an idea for two character groupings, but they are not in strict opposition or cooperation. Groups can collaborate or at times be at odds, have internal differences, and allow every performer to create a character that does not have to necessarily relate to characters or groups from other performances.

Two proposed groups include crop circlers and storm chasers. The crop circlers might be hoaxers, be-your-own-priests, scientists, artists, etc. The storm chasers could be seekers, scientists, artists, etc. Extreme characters might emerge who enjoy different thrills, including trying to make a crop circle in a heavily surveyed area, shoot footage of dangerous storms, etc. At each venue, there might be different characters and even supposedly different groups. The idea of these groups is not dichotomy, but examples of existing hobbyist and professional activities with varied and sometimes vague motivations. They then become jumping-off points for character creation, scenarios, and possible actions and reactions.

A potential interaction model includes:
There doesn't have to be rivalries like science vs. religion edge or evolution vs. creation. Characters don't need to have declared allegiances or archetypes, but as they naturally socialize and reveal their own story lines, a pool of user-generated myths can start to form. Perhaps multiple emergent fan culture wiki members collaboratively generate character pages, where seemingly conflicting information and myths can coexist.

A pool of myths acknowledges the wide range of cultures with interest in lightning and/or sacred geometry. By association and interest, everyone will have their own interpretations, and the characters can choose to bring up existing myths and research and form their own connections with them. They may choose to work in myths local to venues too.

A whole new set of emergent rituals and myths can form as part of a participatory experience. Perhaps repeating characters will develop their own leitmotifs that might include light, sound, and/or plasma effects. Performers' skills, integration, and availability might effect their portrayal of existing or giving birth to new characters and their leitmotifs.
