Sound System DesignThis is a featured page

This group is closely tied to the Coil Management / Fabrication group. Audio signals from the house position console and the interactive cells will be fed into the three coils (2 full range, 1 subwoofer).
Ability should prove to provide reasonable level sound out to facilitate DJ's, video program, as well as musical and vocal instrument amplification.
For now, we will be running analog signal to the coils, but digital will be a coming development.

I pulled this off drmegavolt.com:
The coil is a broad spectrum RF transmitter. Special consideration to shielding must be given if the coil is to operate simultaneously with any public address, video, or audio equipment. This is not an insurmountable challenge, but adequate time must be allowed during setup. We have also observed interaction with intelligent lighting and motion control equipment.

found this of interest - perhaps we could get Dr. Miller to expound on it.

"We converted the sequence of proteins into music and can get an auditory signal for every protein," said Jeffrey H. Miller, distinguished professor of microbiology, immunology and molecular genetics, and a member of UCLA's Molecular Biology Institute. "Every protein will have its unique auditory signature because every protein has a unique sequence. You can hear the sequence of the protein."
